Saturday Spotlight at Junk Chic Cottage!

 Happy weekend, friends!

Today I am so excited to be in the "spotlight" over at the gorgeous blog, Junk Chic Cottage.

Kris has been so kind and encouraging to me as a new blogger, and I truly appreciate her very generous spirit and efforts to highlight bloggers and bring new friends to blogs. Her heart is as beautiful as her shabby chic home!

Thank you, Kris, and if you are a new visitor, I am so happy you are here! Welcome to our home away from home, Sea Glass Cottage!  I would love it if you could leave a comment so that I may follow you to your blog ~

  6. Good morning, Joanne, I enjoyed seeing you at Kris' blog and certainly have enjoyed scrolling down through pictures on this page of the lovely colors you use at your Sea Glass Cottage--and the colors do look like sea glass! I even spotted Buddy there! As an Aunt to three Cavaliers they have a special place in my heart. I've never been to New Orleans so will enjoy glimpses of your life there.

    Best to you,
    Dewena

  8. Hi Joanne!
So glad to find your blog through Junk Chic Cottage! So nice to connect with other empty nesters! A few short years ago I spent quite a bit of time in your neck of the woods. My oldest daughter went to grad school at Tulane and my youngest son went to LSU for a couple of years before he transferred to OU to finish and graduate in his preferred major. Great memories of Louisiana for us all.
Your home is lovely and I will spend a fun afternoon reading all your past posts.;-)

    1. Thanks so much, Jenna-- I think of you, too, when keeping up with Alabama!!! ;) It's going to be an amazing game when we match up soon. Always is an experience when we play Bama -- nerves on edge! So sorry my son won't get to play at that one -- only senior band members go to away games. Roll Tide & Geaux Tigers!!

  18. Hi Joanne, I'm visiting from Junk Chic Cottage. Girl, you are living my coastal dream! ...and like me you're an empty nester who doesn't like to cook (woot woot). I see you're reading Kate Morton - I LOVE her books and have every one of them on my bookcase shelf. I haven't read The Lake House yet and it's on my Santa Please list. Your beach house looks gorgeous as I sit here drooling from the landlocked Canadian prairies.
